“I worked with Chassis virtually through my pregnancy and delivery during the pandemic. I found her through a neighborhood referral and am so glad I did. Chassis was a bright light for me during a difficult time. We talked remotely on a bi-weekly or monthly basis (a schedule we agreed to) and she sent me tons of resources to learn about and prepare for birth. I had preferences for the information I was receiving and the tone surrounding the birth (e.g. no fear) and she honored those preferences and worked within them. She helped me understand that I needed to advocate for myself during appointments, with my SO, and with work. Validating my little or big concerns with her translated into more confidence for me during my first pregnancy and with my medical team. While she couldn't be at the birth (I wish she could have!), she was there right by my side, texting with me or my partner, suggesting positions for more comfort, and checking in on us after delivery. I am so grateful to Chassis (she just checked in again 6 months later) and her beautiful energy. She will bond with you, listen to you, share her stories with you, and buoy you though your pregnancy. Also, as a chef, she'll share some amazing recipes with you during pregnancy, too! I look forward to seeing her grow in her Doula business and help more families with her talents.”

“I was about halfway through my first pregnancy when I started working with Chassis. I had been a bit skeptical about how doulas worked and if one would really make a difference for me and what I had imagined for my pregnancy/birth. Boy, I wish I had her from the beginning! She was so understanding and really listened to my concerns. Chassis helped craft a birth plan that I and my husband were really comfortable with. Due to the long distance, her services were virtual but she was always a video call/text/email away. She was knowledgeable in prenatal health and anything she didn’t have an answer for she took it upon herself to find out. I loved how she incorporated her culinary background into her doula practice, sending me healthy meal and snack ideas. My favorite part about working with Chassis was how she included my husband in all our video chats and emails. She made us both feel so supported throughout the daunting process of becoming parents. I would, without hesitation, recommend her doula service to anyone, regardless of where they are in their pregnancy journey.”
